Latino Leadership: Foundation Boards

Latino Leadership: Foundation Boards supports Hispanics in Philanthropy (HIP) in its efforts to build the pipeline for greater Latino leadership on foundation boards. The report presents data on foundation staff and board diversity and lifts up the perspectives of Latino leaders themselves, based on interviews with 15 current and former board members. The analysis synthesizes interviewees' experiences, highlighting the contributions Latinos bring to the boardroom, the challenges they face, and recommendations for moving forward.

Este informe, publicado por primera vez en diciembre de 2011, fue actualizado en febrero de 2012 a fin de formular ciertas precisiones respecto de los resultados. En este estudio, Aportes filantrópicos de fundaciones destinados a hispanos/latinos en los Estados Unidos y a América Latina, el Foundation Center afirma que: "En la última década, el total de las contribuciones efectuadas por fundaciones de los Estados Unidos en beneficio de los latinos se ha mantenido estable, y comprende alrededor del uno por ciento del total de los aportes de fundaciones".
